Visceral Manipulation in Regina
Visceral Manipulation is a type of osteopathic medicine that focuses on the relationship between the organs and the musculoskeletal system. It is based on the premise that organs have the ability to move and that this movement can be restricted due to injury, illness, or stress. Visceral manipulation practitioners use gentle manual techniques to release these restrictions and improve the function of both the organs and the musculoskeletal system. When organs become “stuck” or adhered to other structures in the body, we may experience pain or dysfunction.
Practitioners use Visceral Manipulation to locate and treat these restrictions, freeing up the organs and restoring their proper function. This can help to improve overall health and well-being. Visceral Manipulation is safe and effective for people of all ages, from infants to seniors.
Visceral Manipulation has been shown to be effective in treating a variety of conditions, including:
Abdominal pain
Constipation
Diarrhea
Irritable bowel syndrome
Urinary tract infections
Prostatitis
Infertility
Pelvic pain
Endometriosis
and more
Visceral Manipulation is also often used to treat back pain, neck pain, and headaches.
If you are suffering from any of these conditions, or if you simply want to improve your overall health and well-being visceral manipulation may be right for you.
